Norfolk County Council has announced a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order affecting the U33135 Road from Stacksford Lane to Hargham Road in Old Buckenham to allow BT to carry out verge, footway, and carriageway joint box works.

Affected Location: U33135 Road from Stacksford Lane to Hargham Road — specifically from 220 metres south-east of its junction with Hargham Road for a distance of 70 metres south-eastwards.
Dates: Works are anticipated to run from 17th August to 21st August 2026. However, the order permits restrictions to remain in place until 2nd October 2026 if required. If the start date is delayed, new dates will be displayed on site in advance.
Vehicle Access & Pedestrians:
- The road will be closed to all vehicular traffic during the works, except where signs explicitly indicate permitted access to a final destination.
- Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout.
Alternative Route: Diversion via U33135 Road from Stacksford Lane to Hargham Road -> C138 Hargham Road -> U33088 The Green -> U33136 Mill Road -> U33135 Road from Stacksford Lane to Hargham Road.
